Not sure what to say?

I really miss Rita and our mutual friend, Danielle French. They were both wonderful people. Rita was a total powerhouse for the housing and thrift industry and at the same time she was a wonderful and loving human being.

Rita was a wonderful and talented individual who had that special touch for dealing with important and critical issues. She was a trusted giant and worked diligently for the thrift industry. I miss her as a friend and miss her guidance and leadership.

Rita was a wonderful friend and a most talented individual. She knew Washington and was an extremely effective promoter of the thrift industry. She will certainly be missed and I count her among those who I admire as well as enjoy them as friends.

I just learned about Rita's passing today. God rest her soul. I am the Grandson of Adam Wojcik. My Mom is Carrie Wojcik Laity. God rest her soul. Rita and I spoke from time to time,on the phone. I was born in Kingston, Pa. I used to also enjoy talking with Annie Wojcik Iorio,Rita's Mother and my Great Aunt. Rita is a good soul. My deepest sympathy to the family. May Rita rest in peace. God rest her soul.

I worked for Rita at my first secretarial job in Washington, D.C., at the Veterans Administration in 1975! She was so kind (and tolerant!) To me. I was 18, far from home, from rural Upstate New York. She was one of the best supervisors I've ever had! I extend my love and condolences to her family and friends. She was a bright light!

Rita was my boss in the early/mid 70s at the VA, and helped me secure a job with HUD when I moved to NYC in 1979. She was a powerhouse with a sense of humor -- and a honed sense of the ridiculous, needed in government work -- and everyone who worked for her appreciated her energy, intellectual curiosity, and ability to inspire. What a generous human being. I will never forget her.
