Although it's been such a long time since we've seen each other, my fond memories of your welcoming friendship soon after I moved to Dexter as a Freshman still remain. I'm very sorry to read of the passing of your mother, and want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Her involvement in the church and community was remarkable. Dear Mary,
I am so sorry to have heard of your mother's passing. She was a lovely lady and whenever I would drive by your childhood home on Dover I always remember that fond memory of spending the night there and driving your poor folks crazy because we stayed up so late making prank phone calls!
She always had a smile on her face and was so sweet to all. It is not easy to loose a parent...You will always need them even if you're a grown adult. My sincere sympathies Mary to you, Ann...
