Rita was born on July 11, 1926 and passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Rita was a resident of Erie, Pennsylvania at the time of her passing. She was married to Robert. Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt Son Funeral Home Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and are invited to services there on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Barber National Institute 1621 Sassafras St. Erie 16502.
Sincere sympathy. I worked with Rita at Sanner Office Supply for many years. She was a fun person, great to work with.

Growing up on English Ave. and knowing her for over 50 years, we have nothing but fond memories of her spirit and warmth.
It was always the highlight of the day to run in to her and spend some time talking, laughing and remembering old times.
