My condolences to Carol, Connie and Pat. I have such great memories of the Lancaster and the Quaker. It was over 60 years ago when I first wandered into the Lancaster Shop and met the Hennessy girls. Rita was a lovely and classy woman.

Rest in Peace & thanks for the great memories. Growing up on Bement Avenue, our outings to the Quaker Gift Shop were some of the best times of our lives. We got to peruse the exquisite items in there with strict warnings from our parents not to break anything!!!

So very sorry to hear of Rita passing. Loved the Quaker Gift Shop and Lancaster Shop as well. Bought many wedding gifts for family and friends still miss seeing the wonderful sisters. So very sorry for your loss.
