Rita Rhodes Hunt

Rita was a very special student and friend. She was intelligent, compassionate, motivated, and so many other positives that I wouldn't even be able to list all of her attributes. My wedding dress fit her perfectly, and she wore it when she married her high school sweetheart. We went on fun rides and stopped where we were led. One special drive took us to Saluda where we happened upon "Hound Dog Day." So many cute dogs; so many wonderful memories! Our families celebrated many happy Christmas...

Rita was one of my first students at Woodruff High School in the secretarial program. She was an outstanding student and taught me as much, if not more, than I taught her throughout the following years that she served on many advisory boards for me. She was a precious friend, and I came to love her family as much as I loved her. Little did I know that she had died on the very day I observed the 6 month anniversary of my husband's death. We spent many memorable Christmases and summer days...

RUBY,JACK AND FAMILY, I AM SO SAD FOR THE PASSING OF RITA. I KNOW SHE WAS A GREAT DAUGHTER BECAUSE SHE WAS YOUR DAUGHTER! MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU. GOD CONFORT YOU ALL.
