Rita Johnson-Fields

It is with much sorrow that my family mourns the death of Rita our friend. Rita has been a part of our family for many years. She was my Mom's very best friend and she was like an aunt. We've shared a lot of times together both good and bad. Since we lost our mom, we could always depend on Rita to show support. It is with sadness that I along with my sisters (including Anita Rice)and my only brother mourn the death of Rita...as my sister mentioned in the late 60's when my mom moved all of her kids from Atlanta to Cleveland,Rita became my late mom's only real true friend and she became like an Aunt to me and my siblings...Rita was a fun person to be around...SHE WILL BE MISSED....

It was sad to hear that Rita passed away. My mother, Inez Alston, was a very good friend of Rita's and I have known her since I was a little girl. My sincere condolences to the family. God Bless and please know that everything will be okay.

It is with great sadness that I sign this book for Rita. I have known Rita since I was a litte girl. Rita and My Mom Inez Alston were best friends, Inez preceded Rita in death. I will always remember Rita, she was one of the first friends that welcomed us to Cleveland back in the late 60's. And had been a friend to my mom every since. May she rest in a better place.
