My sincere condolences and sympathies to your family. I regret that other duties have prevented me from concelebrating the funeral Mass. I was able to offer my Mass this morning for Rita. She was a delightful part of the rectory community during my time at St. Thomas parish, and she contributed greatly to making it feel like home. I will always be grateful for her kindness. With prayers... Msgr. Ed Lohse

My deepest sympathy to you all. I have so many fond memories of going to Rita's with my grandma when I was a kid. I will always remember her kind soul and contagious laugh.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for all the family members of Rita. I met Rita at Colonial Terrace. It was called that when I started working there. It is now Cambridge Corry.
Rita was a character of her own, you couldnt help but love her. She always had something for me to do, and argued about cleaning, most of the time she would say, "dont worry about that", I did anyways. She made me laugh most times, and yes there were other times she was a comical pain. But like I said, you couldn't help but love...
