RITA FRANCES KISER 1923 – 2017 Rita Frances (Belek) Kiser age 93 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, NE. She was born on November 19, 1923 to John and Frances (Patach) Belek in South Omaha, NE. Rita was raised and schooled in South Omaha and she graduated from South High School with the class of 1941. She met Robert "Bob" Guy Kiser Jr. at a Polka Dance at Sokol Park in Bellevue, NE and they were later married on October 4, 1941 at Assumption Church in South Omaha. Rita and Bob made their home in South Omaha and Rita worked at Butternut Coffee. In 1941, they moved to their family farm southwest of Plattsmouth in the Eight Mile Grove area. Rita was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit, PCCW (Parish Council of Catholic Women), and the Merry Workers Extension Club. She is survived by her son: Robert "Bob" J. Kiser and Ellyn Meisinger of Plattsmouth, NE; daughter: Sharon Klinefelter and husband Leroy of Omaha, NE; grandson: Charlie Klinefelter and wife Rebecca of Plattsmouth, NE; six great grandchildren: Ashley, Christopher, Hunter, Kimberlee, Makayla, and Kiser; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Frances Belek, husband: Bob Kiser Jr., great granddaughter: Abigail Marie Klinefelter, and her four siblings: Rosie Belek, Joseph Belek, George Belek, and Helen Cisler. Visitations will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M., Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth. A Rosary will be held at 7:30 P.M., Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 23, 2017 at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth with Father Loras K. Grell and Monsignor Paul K. Witt officiating, Mary Lou Salazar as lector, Lowell Daisley and George Sachs as acolytes, Terry Little as vocalist, and Laurie Hajek-Jones as organist. The Pallbearers will be Stan Grabowski, Richard Harper, Roger Kiser, Charlie Klinefelter, Leroy Klinefelter, Christopher Mendes, and Bobby Taylor. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Joey Aschenbrenner, Jerry Belek, Joseph Belek, John Grabowski, Scott Merwald, Al Skar, and Dwight Utley. Her Final Resting Place will be next to her husband Bob and her great granddaughter Abigail Klinefelter at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Plattsmouth. The family suggests memorials for Masses at Church of the Holy Spirit, Murray Volunteer Fire Department, or the Plattsmouth Volunteer Firefighter's Association.
