I knew Rita at MSU.We were roommates. After graduation we kept in contact a bit but life started, she moved away and we drifted apart. I always liked her. For some reason, I googled her today and found that she has passed. Now I am reminded of what a special kind loving and compassionate person she was. I wanted to tell her friends and family that she was she was a wonderful dear friend during her college years too. I am very sorry for your loss. Rita was special.

My cousin Rita was always great fun. You could tell when Rita was around by her hearty laugh. She memmorably taught my children to love lettuce wraps when we visited in San Francisco. Her courage and determination against all cancer threw at her are legendary for me. As, was her love for her son and family. She lives on in memory and hearts while her presence and laugh are missed way too soon. I join with many in sending sympathies and loving thoughts to family and all who miss her.

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.
May the concern and sympathy of those who care help you through this difficult time.
