KUREK-Rita E. (nee Ostapowicz) June 20, 2007; beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Jr, devoted mother of Joseph (Arja) Kurek, Elizabeth (William) Hayden, Francis (Nancy), Michael (Dolores) , Mary (Richard) Betker, Kathleen Kurek and the late Anthony (Joanne) and the late Paul (Laura) Kurek; sister in-law of Helen Kurek; also survived by 14 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family will be present Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-5 and 7-9 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held Saturday at 8:45 AM at Holy Apostles SS Peter & Paul Church at 9:30 AM

As you know I loved Your Mom, Mother in-law and Grandmother very much. She was a special person to me. She was so very funny and had a wonderful wit about her. She always made people laugh.
