Not sure what to say?

I can't believe it's been so long since Miss Langan passed away. Although I'm a senior citizen, I never felt comfortable calling her "Rita" -- I had so much respect for her. I especially miss our lunches. I'd come to Jersey City from Warren County and pick her up at St. John's Apts. We'd go to the VIP Diner at Journal Square or the Lincoln Inn in the Heights. Those were such delightful times, and I cherish my memories of them. Although I met her in 1963 when I was a student at DHS, we...

Rita was a special family frien. She had wonderful parents and a great brother. I am so sorry to hear of her passing.

Rita was my neighbor on the 5th floor of 10 Huron Ave for 15 years. We were wonderful friends and I loved her dearly.

Ms. Langan was my gym teacher at Dickinson and when I returned to Dickinson to work many years after graduation, she was a Guidance Counselor. What a wonderful person, so pleasant and sweet. We had many conversations and I had great respect for her. May she rest in peace.

Rita started as my high school gym teacher in 1963, and we became long-time friends for the past 50+ years. I visited her often at the Cusack Care Center, where she kept a picture of my daughter (now 40) on her lap many years ago. I will miss my special friend!

When I attended Dickinson HS (65-69), Ms. Langan was one of my Phys Ed teachers. I have only fond memories of her. I was fortunate in that I was able to visit with her from time to time in her last years at Cusak. She was a pleasure to talk with and there were other former students who visited with her also. What a wonderful legacy that students still remember her all these years later. Godspeed Ms. Langan until we meet again.

I am a senior citizen that had Ms. Langan in Lincoln. She was a great person. To her family and friends, I am praying God will comfort your heart and uplift your spirit. With deepest sympathy.
