Rita Mauger Obituary
Born in Terence Bay, June 26, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Alice (Slaunwhite) Jollimore.
Survived by her daughters, Violet (Harold) Little, Nine Mile River; Christine (Blaine) Mailman, Boutiliers Point; Lou-Ann (Richard) Beazley, White's Lake; son, Wayne (Rhonda) Mauger, Terence Bay; sisters, Phyllis Slaunwhite, Terence Bay; Thelma Thomas (Mel), Terence Bay; brother, Richard (Jeanette) Jollimore, Calgary; grandchildren, Mark Little, Kim Hamilton, Nigel Mailman, Andrew Mailman, Erin Haysom, and Lynn Morrone; great-grandchildren, Alex Slaunwhite, Mackenzie Little, Marcus Little, Kayla Hamilton, Matthew Mailman, Benjamin Mailman, Leo Mailman, William Haysom, Adelaide Haysom, Emily Haysom, Brooke Morrone, and Dane Morrone.
Predeceased by her husband, Stanley; sister, Dorothy Slaunwhite.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 8 from 2-4 p.m. in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax. A Celebration of Life will be held in St. Paul's Anglican Church in Terence Bay, on Saturday, July 9 at 11 a.m., the Rev. Cheryl Rafuse officiating. Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church, or any charitable organization of your choice.

John and I are so, so sorry to hear about the passing of Aunt Rita. We want all of you to know we loved her dearly and share your grief of losing her. Aunt Rita was always my favorite Aunt-in-Law and she so treated everyone with great respect. I will never forget how kind she always was to me as a child and teen and all the good old card playing, bingo playing times we had together. She was so proud of the wonderful family she raised and she was just so good to everyone. Like you she will always be wonderful memories in our hearts and we hope you are all coping well. Mom is shocked too, they shared some good old times as well. Take care dear cousins and may God be with you all at this sad, sad time. Love Sandra John and Mom.
