My dad, Thomas Cullen, and Sister Rita were cousins. After my own aunts, Helen and Kay, had passed Sister Rita invited me to consider her as my honorary aunt and I was happy to do so. Having lived at a distance I did not see her often but we were in communication via email. I was concerned when in November emails went unanswered. In December I left phone messages and worried when I still heard nothing. Now my worst fears are realized. Sister Rita was always sharing the tales of family and I...

I just saw that my beautiful friend, Sister Rita, has gone to her eternal rest. She was a loving ray of sunshine for all around her. I will forever know I was deeply blessed for having known her. She always treated everyone she met as a Jesus in her presence. Many lessons learned...... Thank you Sr. Rita for a life well lived......

My grandmother’s name was Mary Kieran. She was from County Louth, Ireland. Her grandmother was a teacher in Wexford. I am a teacher now, as is my uncle in Ireland and several cousins. Kierans are giving kind people Sorry for the loss of this, likely a dear cousin! Until we can meet again!

We all have a piece of Rita’s heart and love within us to carry on. Remember her smile, her laugh, her stories and her teachings. A truly special woman, devoted to God and her family.

Sister Rita was a wonderful woman who always brightened up a room with God's love. May she rest in peace. She will be sorely missed

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.Rest In Peace Sr. Rita

I loved Rita very much and was blessed to live with her for over 55 years. I have memories that will bless me in my own years ahead. A kind, blessed, happy, fun-loving person that will be truly missed.

I lived at Fontbonne Convent with Sister Rita these past 4 years. She was filled with love and wisdom.
