My husband Ralph, my son Nicholas and I enjoyed a lovely relationship with Rita and Lou that began at Lou´s Kitchen. It was the place for breakfast and lunch but especially for lively conversations and comforting warmth created and shared with Rita and Lou and neighbors and new friends. Rita had beauty that truly shined from within. She was soft spoken and enjoyed her time speaking to many of the other customers and making friends with those she just met. We enjoyed some of her treats she would make and bring during the holidays, and when she was unable to come to the salon she would offer something to eat when she had a little " extra". She had a gentleness that was appealing and never had a unkind thing to say. Her family was the center of life and loved them all dearly. ...
