Rita Marie Nemchik

I was sorry to read of Rita's death. We were colleagues, co-investigators and friends during the 1980's at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Not only was Rita expert in her knowledge of diabetes care but she also possessed the wisdom acquired from living her very active life with childhood acquired diabetes. She had a wonderful sense of humor. I remember her with fondness, respect, and admiration.

My deepest sympathies. I worked with Rita in the diabetes field at the University of Pennsylvania and the American Diabetes Association. She was a mentor to me and many practioners in the field.

I was saddened to hear of Rita's passing. We served together on the NJ Affiliate of the American Diabetes Association. The diabetes community has lost a good friend.

So sorry for your lose.Work with Rita many years ago at St. Francis Hospital.She was a special person than and always. Took me under her wings.She will me miss. God bless you Rita and be at pease.

I remember Rita from Sacred Heart grammer school which we attended together . We then went on to Cathederal High School. She was a special person and will be missed by all who knew her.She will be in my prayers
