Dear Mr. and Mrs. Prado,

I wish to extend to you my sincere sympathy and sadness after hearing about Rita when I went into work yesterday. I am so sorry that I was not made aware of Rita's passing so that I could have been with you. Rita will always have a special place in my heart and my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We had many, many long conversations and I had the pleasure of having worked with her and having her as a friend.
