I'm still in shock of the passing of my dear friend Rita. I'm sorry I was not able to attend your funeral. Rita & I go all the way back to Booker T Washington 1971. she was a month older than me....

I met Rita in 1985 in college and immediately I knew she was a good person. My mom loved her and would send her food back when I would go home for the weekend. My daughter grew up knowing her and loved her too. She was kind and very giving. So sorry Larry for your loss!!!!!

I met Rita in 2001, while I was a school liaison officer. We worked together periodically for 8 years. She was such a lovely person. Hard working and caring. I was honored to know her. God Bless.

Larry, just found out about Rita today. She will be dearly missed. She was a wonderful neighbor, and a beautiful woman with a great personality. Rita was an awesome person! Every time you saw her she always had a smile on her face.
She was the life of the Track team at Hobbs High. Growing up in Hobbs, we were all like family! Rita you will be missed, but enjoy your new life. Fly high, you deserve that golden life. Love You!
