Rita Segerman

As a congregant at Adas Israel, Rita always extended herself to make others feel welcome and special. She will be sorely missed. May she rest in peace, Janet Waxman

Those we hold most dear never truly leave us, they live on in the kindnesses they showed, the comfort they shared, and the love they brought into our lives. Although it's sad to lose those who are dear to us, there is comfort in remembering all the times they made such a difference in our lives. To wish you comfort as you grieve, a healing strength as you believe that life goes on beyond this shore and all of us will meet once more. May she rest in peace. Gloria

Rita was an exceptional woman devoted especially to her knitting group. Under her guidance a huge number of woman volunteered over the years to make caps and sweaters for those in need. I knew her in her later years. We loved talking about her garden, especially upon the arrival of so many of her special tulips. She was a most remarkable and multi talented woman who will be missed by me and many others.
