Not sure what to say?

A year already? It seems it was just yesterday that I heard of Dr Traynor´s passing. I think of her often, the many experiences we shared, and the valuable lessons she taught me. I am a better educator because of her leadership and guidance. I remember her fondly, and will say a special prayer for her on January 16.

I am sorry to hear of Rita's death. I admired her very much as an educator and person. I knew her through her role as an adjunct professor in the Educational Leadership Master's Program at Madonna University in Livonia. Rita taught the Curriculum Leadership course for many years. I was so sorry to hear about Dr. Rita Traynor's passing in January. She was such a special person to me. We worked together for sixteen years alongside other staff to help Novi schools become an outstanding district that it is now. Without Rita we would of never reached our goals with both teaching and learning. She will be greatly missed.

Rita was a dear friend from Forest Hills Presbyterian Church. We hung out at musical events in GR. It was always a pleasure to pick her up and spend good time with meaningful conversations in the car after she stopped driving. RIP.

I am so sorry to hear of Dr Traynor´s passing. She was an amazing role model and a dear friend. Like many, I considered her to be my mentor. We shared many experiences, and traveled the world together. We shared trips to Taiwan, Hong Kong and several trips to Japan. She was always learning and growing. Rita was an amazing woman who left this world a better place because of her. She will be greatly missed. May she Rest In Peace, knowing she was greatly loved and admired.

Rita was a dynamo who never acted her age! She was a shaker and mover who loved learning and sharing her talents. It was a pleasure to have had her in our lives. Sincerely, Barb Kalinka
