Not sure what to say?

This acknowledgment of Rita´s passing is long overdue; I ran across a recipe mailout card that Rita sent us back in 2004. She sold us our house in Briar Hills in 1985. She was so gracious and you could tell...smart as a whip, she knew the area like the back of her hand. So very sorry to hear of her passing, please accept my condolences, even though it is many years after the fact.

I knew her as Ms. Tucker my 11th grade English teacher. I will never forget her dedication to being the best teacher. I was so glad our paths crossed decades later at the height of her successful real estate career. I was so glad I was able to tell her of the impact she had on my like.

I kep Rita’s memorial card at my desk with the “Ride a wild horse” poem, read it probably once a month & smile, actually beam! Rita was a truly one of a kind, the best of everything she ever did, and someone I felt so honored to be a business associate but much more importantly, my dear friend! I miss her dearly. However, I know as soon as she went through those pearly gates that she has been shaking up that place, never a dull moment! We lost her way, way too young!

Rita forever lives in my heart & will be until I see her again in heaven. I have often asked myself 'what would Rita do?' Rita was loved by all. Everyone knew Rita & she knew them.
Eric, she loved you so much!! She finally found her Mr.Right, she was proud to announce. She would be happy for you & that you are not alone! She did not want you to be alone!
I still have the poem 'Between the Dash'. I read it again just a few days ago! I miss her still!

Eric,
The service was truly a tribute to Rita's life. What a celebration it was! The love that was in the church that day was felt by everyone. I have never witnessed such a beautiful service!
My heart goes out to you and the family! Rita will continue to live in our hearts. She was a very dear friend and loved by so many!

Our deepest sympathies. Rita will always be remenbered as an inspirational woman full of life. We will miss her sorely.

To all that knew and loved Rita I send my deepest regrets at your loss. Rita, was truly one-of-a-kind and I truly wish I could have had the time to get to know her better. I feel so privledged that I knew her at all. I will miss her.

Love,

Gary / Katy, TX
