Her recipes were always delicious and had to be up to her excellent standards. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Our deepest sympathy to Rita's family Martin and grandchildren, brothers and sisters. My mother Mrs. Vera was Rita's first customer on(Bandera & Gen.McMullen). Rita was such a friendly person and her personality towards her customers was fantastic even her food. Our family followed Rita towards her other 2 successful restaurants and her friendliness and food followed her. I will always remember Rita with my mom and other customers taking sometime to eat breakfast or...

My deepest sympathy for the loss of this wonderful woman. My prayers are with you, Martin, and your family. We'll miss her. (from Ma. Elena, jewelry lady)

My sincere condolences to Martin and the entire family and friends of Rita. I have befriended Rita and have followed her restaurant business since inception of her 1st restaurant. I will miss her dearly. I have yet to find a restaurant with the hospitality that Rita gave us all. Rest in Peace Rita.
