Rob Tobias

We sure miss you friend! You always kept us laughing and smiling...and loved having people around. I think of you often!

I knew Robbie in school in Simsbury. His passion in high school was to attend Emerson and work in media. He was funny, sweet, ambitious, and kind. He created such a beautiful life for himself and his family. He lived his dreams! He's beaming, I'm sure, about his son, Zack having completed an internship at ESPN, too. I have not seen Robert in 40 years or so but I remember him as many will as a great guy from a beautiful talented family. To all that Robert left behind -may you find comfort in the arms of those you love. RIP Robert

My thoughts and prayers are with Rob's Family and friends at this difficult time in your lives. Rob was always a great guy to be around. Many fun times in our High School years roaming around and hanging out. He will be missed by all those who got to know him. RIP

Simply one of the best people i've ever known. Rob was more than a friend, he was a mentor to me. He always made me laugh and he always had the right words of advice for me. I love Rob and miss him terribly. Over the past year I tried to stay in touch with him as much as possible. You'd never know from talking or texting that he was in the fight for his life. He fought cancer with such humor and dignity, as only Rob could. RIP "Rawbie."

The world seems a much less kind place now that Rob is gone. He was one of the sweetest people I knew at Emerson College. Funny, sweet, smart and handsome! Some things never change. When we reconnected in the summer of 2015 he was kind enough to take time out of his busy day to take me to lunch and give me a tour of ESPN. I so enjoyed our time together and it felt like a short time had passed rather than decades. He adored his son and was proud of his career but ready to "call it a wrap". A...

Rest In Peace, you magnificent soul. May your family be sustained in the days, weeks and even years ahead by the love and strength you showed throughout this most difficult ordeal.
