Being born in 1958, I can't rremember not knowing "Bob at The Liquor Basket". He was a fixture in Hesperia for many years and married the mother of a friend of mine from school. My friend was Rick and his lovely mother, and Bob's wife, is Judie.
They couldn't have found nicer people than eachother! Both wonderful people
We are very sorry for Bob's families loss of him. God bless his soul eternally!
My mind is back in the sixties right now, i'm on my stingray...

My sincere condolences to your family. I was in school with Helen and Paula and went to work at the liquor store In approximately 1969. When Bob opened his grocery store in the old Walters Store building on Hesperia Rd. I worked for him again, along with Don - the produce man. Bob always had time to listen. I still think of him every now and then, his smile and the twinkle in his eye. Such a good man.
