Linda, Anne and I are saddened by your loss of Bob. I first met Bob when I was riding my bicycle through the neighborhood and saw him in the driveway working on his old? used? 1940 Ford pickup. Bob was generous with his time and knowledge, thus beginning a lifelong connection. Bob was humble and always the same; more interested in hearing about me than in telling about his own amazing life.

Linda, I am saddened to learn of Bob's death. I have a lot of good memories when Richard & I were in Key Caprock Gin& he came to work on machinery for us there. After he finished his job he would always come to the office, light up his pipe & settle in for a visit.
After we moved to Kingsland & would go back to Lamesa & visit First Baptist church, he was always one of the first ones to come by to welcome us.
You & your family are in my thoughts & prayers.

I was very saddened to see this. I learned much from this man and I enjoyed all the cups of coffee we had together when he would visit me at the steel yard. This is more than a loss for your family, it is a loss for the whole community.
