Robert "Bobby" Lee Evick, age 54 of Franklin, WV, passed away as the result of an ATV accident on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 on Summer Mountain, near the Evick home place in Franklin, WV. He was born on April 29, 1963, in Harrisonburg, VA, the son of the late William
Frederick and Vada Alice (Alt) Evick. On June 10, 1989, Bobby married Julie Ann (Thompson) Evick who survives in Franklin.

Bobby was a 1981 graduate of Franklin High School and a graduate of South Branch Career and Technical Center and Massanutten Technical Center. He worked as a Project Engineer for Graham Packaging in Harrisonburg, VA and was a member of Living Faith Church.

In addition to his wife, Bobby is survived by: his children, Preston Robert Evick, Grant Parker Evick, and Natalie Brooke Evick, all of Franklin; 2 brothers, Billy Evick and wife Cindy of Franklin, and Brad Evick and wife Teresa of Harrisonburg, VA; his mother-in-law, Jamie Thompson of Franklin; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bobby's family will receive friends on Saturday, November 25, 2017, 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Living Faith Church in Franklin and funeral services following at 2:00 PM with Pastor Stephen Teter officiating. Interment will be in the Evick family cemetery on Dickenson Mountain, Franklin, WV. Memorials may be made to the Pendleton County Fire and Rescue Squads, POB 727, Franklin, WV 26807. I know this is still a terrible loss for his family. He was a good man. I miss the Friday night dinners we had at Peanut's in the past. I believe God welcomed him home and will bless and strengthen his family.
