Had many fond memories of Robert and The Abares. I was a good friend of his Son, Gary.

Bob was a real gentleman and my golf partner. We spent hours on the links together at IGC, and I miss his good company.

It was my priviledge to have worked with Bob at the I.C.C. He was always looking out for his employees and was known throughout the region for his generosity and liberal support of Holiday celebrations in the office. He will be missed and long remembered.

Our hearts go out to the family. Losing some close to you is very diffcult to deal with, but in time you can draw comfort from God's spirit and loving kindness

The coffee club at Donelan's Market will miss Bob's thoughtful and witty conversation. He had a great sense of history. Best wishes to his family, from Robert Schneider, of Acton.

The town has lost one of its finest citizens and he will be sincerely missed. To the entire Abare family our deepest condolences.

We appreciate Mr. Abare's long time commitment to Lazarus House and his support through the John W. McCormack II Foundation. We will keep him and his family in our thoughts at our daily prayer service at the Good Shepherd Center chapel.
