Not sure what to say?

I didn't know Bob , but he sounded like a great person.

Its been almost 9 months now and I still think about you "ol' boy" every day that passes by. Your passing will affect me and move me, every day for the rest of my life. You were and still are my hero and inspiration for this life of mine. Our extremely long phone conversations about nothing and everything to the days you and I tromped through you know who's lands, will be so greatly missed. You were my best friend and father(adopted). I only wished we got to do that one last "unit" together....

bob was an inspiration to me as we were classmates at u of wash. we took the same classes and weight lifted together.i pray the lord has him in his hands

It has been almost 6months since my father passed away, though it hurts just as though it were yesterday. The pain eases through time, though our lives have been changed forever. He was our stength and protection. How easily we take for granted life. It is so fragile. Here today, gone tomorrow. I can say I was fortunate to have been out at the house visiting dad with Hailie(his grand-daughter) just prior to his passing. I will embrace that moment and the all the memories we have shared and...

What a shock! Although we have not been in contact for quite a few years, we have always wondered about Bob and his wife Marsha and kids. I attended LCC with Bob and became friends and hunted together. We Jeeped together along with other friends and always had a lot of fun. We shall always remember those good times. So we send our condolences to the family. Know you are not alone in this time of sorrow.

When i found out about what happened to my grandpa, i was shocked. He was one of those guys who you think is industructable. i learned many great things from my grandpa. none of them will i forget. thank you all for your kind words and thoughts as well as past memories. he was a great man and is missed dearly.
Bob's oldest grandchild

Bob's overactive imagination impressed me in grade school. It seemed like he could sit for hours drawing battle scenes while furnishing the animated machine gun fire and bomb drops (with sound effects!). I feel certain his creativeness served him well. This is one of the fond memories I recall of a classmate and Garfield Street neighbor. I am sorry for your loss.

Bob aka "Grandpa Bob" was my grandfather, a great man. He tought me many inportant things in life. Such as not to care what other people think of you cause if you do then you could miss out on other inportant things that life has to offer. He was not afraid to speak how he felt and what his oppinions were on whatever the subject may have been. I think about him everyday, he had a smile to remember. He will be missed by many people. Thank you all for your posts..

I wrestled with Bob at LCC in 65 and 66,right after he got out of the marines. He was truly a great guy, always had a smile, and was an inspiration to all that knew him.
