Bob and I first met in 1957 when we both taught in West Linn and later in Oak Grove, then as school administrators in Clackamas Elementary Dist.and North Clackamas District. Our families camped, socialized and grew up together. Bob and I hunted for deer and elk for many years. Bob was the brother I never had. My girls loved "Big Bob"and always looked forward to camp with the Adrian's. Our thoughts are with the Adrian family with the loss of a great man. Thanks for the wonderful memories Bob

Bob was the best administrator I worked for in my 30 year career with North Clackamas. He hired me at McLoughlin, and I truly never saw him say or do an unprofessional thing. Bless you, Bob. May eternal peace be your blessing after your hard work as an educator.

Mr. Adrian was my 7th grade teacher at Oak Grove Grade school. I wasn't a good student, in fact I was pretty terrible. I still have a report card from his class that comments 'He doesn't even try...' or something like that. I hung out with a group of like minded kids, and I always felt that he genuinely liked us all, or most of us any way. Of all the teachers I've had, he was one of the best. RIP Mr. Adrian.

have never forgotten Mr. Adrian, and probably never will. He stood in the juncture of the two busiest halls of Milwaukie High every morning, hugging, high-fiving, cheering and cajoling. He was always available to students and genuinely cared about us. I loved him and respected him. For those of us on the newspaper staff he was known as “the Big B.A.,” because of his height and his initials. We meant it with the affectionate sarcasm adolescents are known for and I’ll always remember his...

Bob hired me to be part of the McLoughlin Jr. High staff back in 1967. We were an incredible close staff and a great deal of credit for that goes to Bob Adrian. It was fun to go to school and fun to teach. Bob was available for help, encouragement or just to chat anytime. Bob Wilson and Bob Adrian even hiked into a lake in the Cascades with several of us staff members for a camp-out fishing trip! His legacy is not to be forgotten and his leadership went way beyond what was expected...

Bob was always a kind and thoughtful friend. We will miss sharing an occasional glass of wine.

Bob was a huge influence in my life. He hired me for my first teaching job at McLoughlin in 1969 and helped me to grow in my love of working with kids. With his leadership our staff was more like a family and I have so many wonderful memories of those times. He was not only a fantastic leader, but also a wonderful person and friend. He will be missed.
