Not sure what to say?

I started working at Wunsch, Aikens and Lungershausen as a secretary in 1972. I moved with the firm from the Penobscot Building in Detroit to the Kimberly Scott building in Troy. Although my bosses were David Ohlgren and Arthur Lungershausen, I had contact with both Bob and Bill Aikens frequently. They were kind and generous to their employees. I especially remember occasional lunches at the London Chop House and festive Christmas parties.

A truly amazing man. Bob was a tremendous mentor, he taught me the real estate business and any success I achieved is due to his influence.
My condolences to Ann and family. Bob will be missed by the many he touched during his life.
We were blessed to have known him.

Love and condolences to Bruce and the Aikens family.

Robert Aikens was a friend for over 45 years. I had the utmost respect for him. He welcomed me into his family and showed me countless acts of kindness. He showed me the value of "hard work", "loyalty", "family", and "friendship". He never disappointed me. I will miss him. My warmest thoughts are with Ann, Kim, Bruce, Lindsey, Scott, and the entire family.

Dear Aikens Family: I first met Mr. Aikens when I managed Little Traverse Bay Golf Club in 1992. I am now a Manager at Stafford's Pier.
He was always a gentleman and kind to our servers and staff, which is a good measure of a man.
Once he was given the wrong meal and the server apologized and he said, "Wait - this looks better than what I ordered - I'll keep this", being the gracious gentleman he was.
My sincere condolences to Mrs. Aikens and all of your family.
Carol...
