Not sure what to say?

Vince and I had such wonderful memories of you and Marge when we were in Maui together Now you are both gone but the memories are still with me. You also saved my life when Vince took me to Merrit Hospital Emergency with a blocked intestine and you arrived to operate. Thank you again my dear friend LOVE ALWAYS, Diane

A memory: I was 4 or 5 so Bob must have been 14 or 15. At Easter, my Dad bought me a bunny and we had a cage in the back yard of our house at 1423 Stannage Ave., Berkeley. That bunny somehow knew how to open the cage door and get out. I don't know how many times Bob handed Bunny over the back fence to me when he caught it in the yard where their chickens were! I thought Bob was the nicest boy in the world because he was so gentle and never angry at having to catch the bunny and hand him...

Hello Dear Albo Family,
So sorry to hear about your loss. I am sending much love and prayers to all the family. Dr. Bob lived such a full life - he was generous in so many ways - personality plus and enthusiastic spirit for famliy, sports, magic, medicine, community..UCB, the Lair, on and on. What an example for all of us. Great man and dedicated to his wonderful and loving wife and family. He gave so much to all who had the pleasure to know him even if only for a short while. His...

Dear Marge and Family: Rose's mom just called to say that she saw in the SF paper that Bob passed away. I am very shocked and saddened. Dr. Albo was wonderful to Rose and she loved typing for him on his magic projects. And, he was a wonderful help to me during Rose's illness and always a source of good advice. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Bob Raker (Pleasant Hill, CA)

Dear Albo family: Speaking for myself, Jeannie and the entire UCSF Surgical family, Bob will be misssed terribly. It was my pleasure to work with Bob in the early glory days of UCSF, SFGH and the famous Mission Emergency Room, to share tables with him at Surgical meetings, and enjoy watching his great magic tricks. I sent the "really hard" cases to Bob from Monterey, BEFORE somebody else hurt them, and they always came home cured and in awe of the master. His smile, his humor, his kindness...

To Marge and family,
We were blessed to know both you and Bob when you began your family on Tenth Avenue. Bob was a loyal friend and neighbor who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. We fondly remember Bob's generosity of heart and his commitment to the medical profession. We will always keep Bob in our hearts and we extend our deepest sympathy to Marge and the family.
The Martin and Rydberg Families.

Dearest Marge, Bob seemed so larger than life that I can't believe he's gome. You and his family must keep expecting him to reappear, saying this is just another one of his magic tricks.
Being around him made people feel happy. He had so much joy inside that he spread it everywhere. And if ever there were a Renaissance man in our time, he was that man. We all loved him, and we all love you. It's devastating to live through a long illness and finally lose, and I know, to a degree, how...

What a wonderful guy. He leaves behind a great legacy. He had such character. I will always remember him

Bob was always so upbeat. He didn't need to be a doctor to make
you feel better.
