Breaking his Discus record at Palmer 3 years behind him still ranks as one of my best memories. I wish I had the chance to know him as an adult. Rob was a team mate and room mate in my first year at KU, and he was like an onery big brother who actually gave good advice, but also knew how to kick back and have some fun, too.
