Bob was inspiration to all he met. He inspired me to a career in engineering

Hands down my favorite teacher of all time. Kind, generous and always sincere and caring. He fueled my interest in science and guided me toward my eventual vocation-Avionics Engineer. He will be forever missed!

Through many years of volunteering with Bob on Ohio Wesleyan projects, I learned to admire his diligence and kindness towards others. Bob was among the most interesting conversationalists I know, a good speaker and a good listener. Whatever he said was worth hearing. I will miss him.

I am absolutely stunned by news of Bob's passing. He and I were the closest of friends at Ohio Wesleyan, and his death is very painful to me. I had just talked to him in November and we talked about the election and our good times at OWU. My deepest condolences to his family.

Mr. Alspach was a true educator! His love for the subject was contagious! Over the past 22 years of teaching I truly have thought about him so many times!

I remember Mr. Alspach fondly he was one my favorite science teacher in middle school he inspired me to pursue my science based degree as a Nurse & Nurse Practitioner. God Bless Mr. Alspach & family.
