Not sure what to say?

Can't believe we are at the ten year anniversary of Uncle
Bob's passing. When I think of him I remember his gentle smile - especially when he interacted with children. May he continue to rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to the Amon family. Bob was a good father-in law and passed his sense of humor onto my son Jeff. Bob always had a "quiet smile" when he looked at Jeff & Kim when they were young.I remember his special treats of bringing the family "Walts" hot dogs and fries, and the special valentines he sent.
Jeff & Kim were lucky to have had such a caring Grandfather.

Such a wonderful man and woman could have only created such a beautiful family. Mr. Amon, thank you for raising such a wonderful Grandpa for our children. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your wonderful family.~ Love Jackie, Brian, Fisher, Nathan, and Baby Wyatt~

Hi grandpa it's kimmy again. This is very fitting because you always used to make fun of my talking. Well herei am talking too much again. I forgot to say thank you for my beautiful doll house you made with my dad. For anyone who has never seen it it was a beautiful Victorian house given to me at Christmas complete with working lights and little reefs on each window. I still have it, it just needs a little fixing up and then Courtney and melody can play with it. Colton has your beautiful...

Gran pa, I can only hope to be the man you were. Noble, humble, loving, honest and most of all witty. I think about you all the time and what you accomplished. Most of all the role model you were and still are. I know that you are with my two daughters Courtney & Melody and tell them about you all the time. How you can build things and make jokes. I remember the wise cracks at the dinner table. Even though I didn't always get the jokes (especially about Jimmy Carter when I was about 8)but...

To my funny valentine, my grandpa,
I am so proud to be your granddaughter and teach in the town of linden where you were so well known to be the great man everyone knew you as. I am who I am because of you and all you gave to our family. I could search high and low but not many people compare these days to the man you were. Thank you for always believing in me. I know you were proud of my strength and dedication to Colton and to my teaching career. I was always proud of you too. Proud...

MR.ROBERT AMON I will never froget the pleasure dealing with YOU at your car dealership in RAHWAY .May GOD bless you .

Transitions like this always hurt - what can comfort is knowing the full and good life that was led, and the wonderful legacy that he left.
Uncle Bob held a very special spot in our hearts and that is where we will always find him.
Our love and deepest sympathies to Aunt Effie, Rob, Kathy, Peggy and the extended families.
Ruth (Amon) and Joe Guido

I haven't seen uncle Bob in some time and regret that dearly. He was always good to me and my brothers and loved my dad alot, I will miss him. Sad to see the last of that generation go.
