Not sure what to say?

Bob and I became friends in spite of the age gap. He was in high school, while I was in my twenties. We shared the love of comic books and became close friends, building up the Fans of Central Jersey, from what I was told by a comics friend, as being a pretty big deal at the time. I remember the awe he expressed when I taught him to drive or introduced him to my comic book fandom friends who, like myself, went on to become professionals. Bobbbeee was such a great friend and more importantly my VOR. We met in the mid 80s as both of our professional careers took off and it was instant friendship above and beyond work. We almost share the same birthday and his memory lives strongly everyday in my heart. We lost a great one way too early. Miss you buddy

I cant believe its a year. Bobby was such a great friend and mist important my voice of reason. Meeting him in the 80’s as a music critic, we became instant friends. We lost touch of the each other but once I returned to Florida on the 90’s, we never lost touch. Bobby was such a compassionate person and I am so fortunate that he was part of my life. We shared our birthdays one day apart and miss him big time. Bobbbbbby was the best.

Bobeee was a very close and incredible friend. First year of not celebrating our bdays together. He was my voice of reason and miss our kibitz’s

May you Rest in Peace and prayers to your family. A great writer and an even better man.

Rest in perfect peace, Bob. I am forever grateful for all of your help during my journalism career and beyond. But I am mostly grateful to have known you as a friend and peer. You will be missed.

After reading much of Bob's work we had an extended talk a couple years at the Radio Reunion which I will treasure. What a great guy. Joe Bourdow

One of the best parts of releasing a new book was the opportunity to spend time reconnecting with Bob. My sympathies to Mimi, Charlie and his beloved dog.
