Proctor Funeral Home - Camden Obituary

Robert "Bob" Anders passed away peacefully at his home on July 17, 2020 after turning 72 the previous day. He was born on July 16, 1948 in Camden Arkansas to Leo and Flora Anders and his proud "older" sister, Betty. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Flora Anders. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Glenda Anders; 2 proud daughters, Amy Sanchez and Angie Gray; 2 son-in-laws, Chendo Sanchez and Brady Gray; sister, Betty Keen; 6 grandchildren, Mercedes, Ana, and CJ Sanchez and Kimber, Karlee, and Kinzly Gray; and a number of other family and friends he dearly loved.

Bob was a graduate of Camden High School class of 1966 and a Southern State Graduate in 1970. He was an active member of Cullendale First Baptist Church.

Bob was gentle, kind, and quite humorous. He had many titles, but his proudest title was Pap. He spent the majority of his time driving them on the ranger, fixing them ice cream, driving them to band and theater practice and holding them in his lap while watching Pap’s phone (pone).

He will be missed by many, but we are so thankful for the memories. His legacy is one of love that was made possible because he had given his life to Jesus. He would want you to know that Jesus is the answer to everything and that giving your life to Him is the best choice you could ever make. We will have a celebration of life service at Cullendale First Baptist Church on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 11AM in the morning and visitation prior to the service at 10 am.

In lieu of flowers, it was Bob’s desire to dig wells for Water for Life.
