Not sure what to say?

Rob had one of the biggest hearts in the world and made people around him feel better to be alive. He believed that communities could be better places and dedicated himself to that goal. Whether doing stonework or managing complex urban programs, he always gave his best and did it for others above himself. His boyish energy always made me feel better and I miss him.

Rob and I worked together in Rio Rancho and kept in touch for many years. He had a great mind but he lead with his heart. He touched our lives in so many ways. I will miss you my friend.

It was 2 years ago that I met Rob. I did not know him very well. But I was so impressed with his kindness, upbeat spirit and love for his children. I am so sorry for your loss.

I was truly shocked to learn of Rob's passing. I worked with him for many years with the City of Rio Rancho, NM. I did not have the opportunity to meet his kids, but I want them to know he often spoke of you, and he was an honorable man. I enjoyed working with him and learned a great deal about community planning from him. I am shocked and saddened by his early passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his kids and entire family.

Rob and I first met at the Kennedy School, where my daughter played with his son in the back of auditoriums while famous people spoke in the front. I liked Rob right away (who didn't?) and we worked on some common research projects. I caught up with him again when I worked for the Department of Housing and Urban Development and he worked for the city of Detroit. Rob had an impossible job as Planning Director, but never lost his intelligence or integrity. We managed to see each other several...

My condolences to Rob's family and friends. Rob and I worked together on several projects in recent years. His insight was invaluable. I enjoyed his humor and respected his character. Whenever we worked together, I was always reminded of how much he cared for his children. He was clearly proud of his children and cared deeply for them. I am happy to have had the opportunity to work with Rob. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Condolences to Robs family , may good memories make his passing easier to bear.
