I am the person today through his influence over the many years having been lucky enough to have met him, taught by him and welcomed to the family during the time in NC.

I have very fond memories of Dr Anderson. As medical students we were encouraged to present a case to the chief of surgery. I was terrified and stammered my way through a complicated case as he listened patiently. He never interrupted and when I was through, he smiled warmly, added a few pearls of wisdom and made me feel like I had done a wonderful job. Reading his obituary I´m stunned by the breadth of his accomplishments. They don´t make them like Dr Anderson anymore. My deepest sympathies...
