Robert J. Andrews Jr.

Bob was one of my teachers at Cleveland State University in 1975. We reconnected years later and he became one of my closest friends and someone I trusted implicitly. He played a role in my best accomplishments, including writing a book. and I miss him dearly. He had a quote for every situation, a brilliant mind and a playful sense of humor. Life was hard on him but he refused to turn away from it. I am grateful he found the peace he deserved.

Dr. Andrews taught for Civil Engineering department in the University of Akron. His students loved him, and his classes were very popular. I am sure that Dr. Andrews will be missed by myself, all students, and faculty. Sincere condolences for family.

I offer my heartfelt condolences to Prof. Andrews's family and friends on his passing. He was the finest teacher I have ever known; I do wonder that this lovely remembrance does not speak in more detail of the years he taught English at Cleveland State University.
