My heart was in New York last Monday night where friends and family gathered to honour Robert Anthoine. I knew Bob in his capacity as a longtime trustee at Aperture Foundation, and through that role he became a mentor and friend. He taught me important lessons about loyalty to causes you believe in, and told me that a good approach to life was "never pass up the opportunity to meet someone you admire."
