I have very fond memories of Mr. Argo when he would come into my uncle's cafe, Chase Street Cafe. It was always a joy to see him and hear my mother, Joyce, and my uncle, Mark, joke around with him. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He left a wonderful legacy for his family. I'm sorry for your loss and pray for peace and comfort for each of you. Blessings....

To the Argo family,
Mrs. Argo, Mimi, Amy and Marty,
I was very saddened when I heard the news! I have so many fond memories of Mr. Argo that shaped my childhood. All the Georgia games, the bulldog bus, campaigning, and my most favorite, swimming, cookouts and the lake. At times I thought I was an Argo Lol! I will be remembering you all in my prayers! It is a very sad season to loose a loved one, but it is sweet to know that they are in a beautiful place where there is no pain or sickness.I have learned that storing up your treasures in heaven has nothing to do with things, It's the people we love. We've got yet another treasure there to look forward to seeing again. Much love! Sarah Hale Thompson

On behalf of the men and women of the Brunswick Senior Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, I want to express our sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Robert Argo. The members of our Squadron are heirs to the legacy of courage, dedication and patriotism which Mr. Argo and his fellow CAP members established in 1942 when they served at Coastal Patrol Base Six of the Civil Air Patrol on St. Simons Island, GA. During those dark days of World War II, Mr. Argo and his fellow patriots volunteered to work long hours, fly dangerous missions and put their lives on the line everyday in the fight against the submarines of Nazi Germany. Robert Argo and his fellow volunteers were the foundation of the modern Civil Air Patrol, the Official Auxiliary of the United States Air Force, and continue to inspire and motivate today's CAP members. His passing is truly a loss for his family, his community and our country.
Semper Vigilens Robert E. Argo, Jr.
Sincerely,
Major Roy Scarborough, CAP
Commander, Brunswick Senior Squadron
Civil Air Patrol, U.S. Air Force Auxiliary
