Not sure what to say?

Robert's daughter, Mellanay, was my language arts teacher for my years spent at Townsend. She inspired me in many ways: to pursue my dreams, never settle for second best, and continue with my writing. I know she loved her father dearly, and many of her views were influenced by him. My deepest sympathies. God Bless.

Cleo and I were very fortunate to have known and been a friend of Bob's. I know of no one more considerate and caring than he was. A great man.
We have lost a good friend and a great person.

My name is Veronica, I work for AAA Full Transportation. We transported Mr. Auman for many years. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Auman just once, and the one time was enough to realize what a caring and loving man he was. My sympathy goes out to his wife and the rest of his family. You are all in my prayers.

It was with sadness that I heard about Mr. Auman's passing. I got to know him and Barbara at the office and I always enjoyed the stories he told about the war and traveling all over. I especially enjoyed hearing about their station in Spain. He was always cheerful and kind to me when he came in even if he didn't feel well (he never showed it). I missed not seeing him this last year in Dr Belzer's office and I will miss the fact that I won't see him again here on earth. I know I will...

I am a friend of Bob Jr. and my thoughts and prayers go out for the entire family. I have told Bob Jr. what a good man he is, now after reading about his dad's life, I can understand why. He will be missed by all who knew him I am sure.

When I was in the 303rd BW, I served as CP on a crew with Bob and Frank Nunnally. Bob and I worked as a team on celestial navigation and bomb runs. Bob was a great team leader; the best. -Bill

Our hero and special friend who was so thoughtful of others. So many memories of the talks we had and the encouraging words he shared. Bob -- you are missed already. We look forward to seeing you again.
