Thank you, Bob, for inviting me to your home on a couple of occasions. Your interest in getting to know me is something that will stay with me forever. Thank you for making me feel welcome in the family. I immensely enjoyed my brief time with you. How I wish I knew you sooner and longer.

Beautiful send-off at St. Chris today. All of you “children” and grandkids helped make it a wonderful celebration of his life. What a proud legacy! Be well, stay healthy and know you’re in the prayers of a big community.

Joel, Our sympathy goes out to you and your family. There is so much we could say about your father. When we first met him in his office downtown in 1987, Sharon and I thought "What did we get ourselves into?" That soon changed after we talked with your dad. He took a personal interest in us and wanted to make sure that we both knew the details and importance of planning for the future. I can remember him calling us on a Saturday night saying that he was thinking about us.

We were very fortunate to have Mr. and Mrs. Jensen as neighbors for many years - they were both wonderful role models for us because they had such a beautiful home and the loveliest flowers in town! They always shared a smile, a wave or a friendly hello. Over these last several years I always kept an eye out for Mr. Jensen so that I could meet up with him on his walks and share a few minutes of conversation and smiles. I knew Bob a whole year through the Cleveland Athletic Club before I even met Joel. We each left work a little early to get to CAC ahead of the crowd. We developed a friendship starting with that shared interest. He offered encouragement, advice and sometimes disdain for my torn work out clothes. Those early years were so special and fun. I will miss our book conversations & happy hours by the fireplace.
