Crafton Funeral Home - Franklin Obituary

Mr. Robert Lee “Butch” Baird, Jr. age 73 of Franklin, died Friday at the Medical Center in Franklin.  A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.  A native of Simpson County, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Baird and Mary Bertus Holder Baird.  He was a former employee of the Lenk/Drackett Company and was an Army Veteran.  He is survived by his wife – Lois Wickware Baird of Franklin; 2 children – Misty Baird of Franklin and Derek Baird of Goodlettsville, Tennessee; brothers and sisters – Dorothy Edison of Bowling Green, Willie Baird of Franklin, Brenda Key of Russellville, David Baird of Tampa, Florida, Joseph Baird of Lexington, Rebecca Baker of Portland, Kerry Baird of Lexington, Roberta Baird of Hawaii and Tony Baird of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandchildren – Dondrey Woods, Derrick Boards, Tanner Baird, Xavier Rice Baird, Kingston Baird and Cyncere Hinson.
