I heard about your dad's passing from my brother Mark who resides in Lansing. My very best to you both, your sister and you mom ( a great woman and cub scout leader so many years ago). Truly you dad's accomplishments made all of you so very special as individuals,
Be well.

My condolences to the Baker Family. Doc was instrumental in helping me get a "Friends of Ithaca College" scholarship and made my college education much more affordable. I'm sure there were countless individuals like me he helped along the way. Doc was also a very generous philanthropist. He was very supportive of Big Red Athletics and a regular in the colonnade for home football games. All of us in Cornell Athletics are grateful for his support and will miss him.

As a life long family friend of the Baker's for generations I am deeply saddened by this loss. Dr. Baker or "Senior" as he was known to many was an active member of the Ithaca community and embodied what we all hope to be as we age. His loss is a loss for the community as well. My thoughts and prayers for his family.
