Not sure what to say?

Dear Robert,
I just found out about Bobby's death. I am so sorry and so sad. What a tragedy and what a great loss. I still remember his charming face as a young boy when he came by NSRL with you sometimes. I also remember you worrying about him when the bus left him in a remote neighborhood once which was a side I did not see from my mentor before. As a father, I can probably understand how much you have loved Bobby but I can only imagine your sorrow. My heart felt sympathy and wishes for...

Dr. Baker,
Maxine and I were deeply saddened to learn of Bobby's death, which happened when we were away from Lubbock. I have taught the Vietnam War to hundreds of students at TTU, but I will always remember Bobby for his energy, conscienciousness, and wit. We have made a contribution to the Bobby Baker Memorial Scholarship for Undergraduate Research in Biological Sciences and hope that some deserving student will be able to study in his name. Please let us know if we can do...

I'm very sad to learn Bobby has died. I knew him from LHS (class of '04) and TTU (class of '08). He was kind, quick-witted and bright. I planted a Gingko in his honor.

Dr. Baker and Family...Our prayers are with you in this time of heartache...but
take comfort knowing that you now have a special guardian Angel watching over you. Verna Smith and daughters.

Dear Robert and Laura,
I just learned of Bobby's death last weekend when I was in Lubbock. What a tragic loss. When reading about his interests, intellect, and passion for life, I was reminded of memories of him when he was a child in the CDRC. Those characteristics were there then and grew and matured over time. I can only imagine the depth of your grief. He was truly a special person.

To the Baker family,
I was one of Bobby's faculty teachers at UT Houston and I am deeply saddened by the news of his passing. He left a vivid impression as a highly ethical, intellectually curious young man with great promise in the healing profession. I am so sorry for your (and our)loss. Please take care.

We love you and hugged each other today, as you asked. Thinking of you with love, Ann and David

So, so sorry to hear this sad news. Bobby was in school with my son Alex at Lubbock High and Alex remembers him well. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Lyn, Mark and Alex Stoll
