I remember Bob so well from our days together during feeds and Camp life at Camp Eighteen.. I was a young man getting ready to enter the Marines in 2 short weeks and spent them with the men at Camp . I left Camp and spent a few days at home before leaving for boot camp.. I remember Bob being so friendly as he always and in the years to come. He was always a gentleman and wise beyond his years but quiet in thought before he spoke. When he retired from Camp , he was truly missed for his humor...
