Not sure what to say?

My Dad, Harold Mohr just learned of Bob's passing. He was broken hearted to hear of this. He laughed and cried while sharing some of the many stories of Bob and their antics. Harold and the crew truly adored Bob. Our condolences to the whole family. Melissa Mohr

Will miss all the hunting and fishing stories.

Sue, I am so very sorry for your loss , I loved him like a brother, he was a one of a kind and I will miss him dearly, RIP Brother Bob! Bob and I were friends for over 54 years and I could write a book of all the memories . Curt Golden

I met Bob when I was about 12, he was one of my father's best friends. Whether we were hunting or fishing, he was always the guy with the most luck - the most or largest fish and the biggest bucks. He earned the name Boom-Boom Balistreri when a herd of 25 or so deer ran past with several bucks. In the end, that time, he got mostly pine trees. To hear him tell the story was to laugh until you cried. Bob took to heart the strong suggestions that he aim better in the future and hasn't...

We were saddened to hear of Uncle Bob’s passing.
Prayers for all.

Bob was a fine man and friend to all. He was a great boss and I enjoyed working with him at the Glendale Heights Graybar branch. He taught me a lot about life and business. God rest his soul and hope to see him in the next life.

“Bad Bob”
The man the myth the legend, People often wonder why we call him bad Bob, well here’s a little insight to my personal storyHubbard lake, as a 15 year-old fishin’ with himPuts a fishhook straight through his finger. The man pulls it out with pliers, tapes it up and continues to fish the rest of the day. Caught a ton of fish to boot and I couldn’t believe itall the while he continued to tell me awesome stories, I’ll always cherish that, and I never forget that memory when I’m...

Dee,
There’s no words to say how sorry and sad we are over bad Bobs passing. Bad Bob, as I called him, was respected and loved by all who knew him. He not only had the greatest personality but also had so much knowledge with so many subjects. He could even give your dad a run for his money on storytelling.
Judi and I send our love and prayers to you and your girls.

I'm not sure I ever met Bob, maybe once a very long time ago. What I most remember is the deer hunting stories my dad would tell after they spent time up north trying to outdo each other with big buck success. Dad never referred to him as Bob, just Balistrari. There was always a lot of laughter at hunting camp. I believe Balistrari was usually the one who succeeded in procuring the most enviable buck alongside the most humorous events. These are the things that come to mind as I think...
