Not sure what to say?

A class act in every sense of the word. He left an indelible footprint on the lives he touched. I have thought of him often through the years since meeting him in Oliver at the Montgomery Little Theater, circa 1969. I thought he was so suave and sophisticated and he was every bit of that and more. What a gentleman he was. Break a leg, Colonel B.

My once and future student, Deanne, thought so highly of him tha I have had to reach a similar high opinion of him, even though we met only once, sadly, I must confuss.

I remember him from when I was a cadet at the AF Academy.
I hope you'll be celebrating a life well lived. You can cherish the memories forever.

I had the pleasure of working with Col. Barmettler as a costume designer for Huntingdon Theater, which led my to my later work with a large costume company in Altanta. I will always remember him as a talented, kind and giving individual. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Ellen Summer Gonzalez

A GREAT MAN HAS PASSED .

I was Bob's office-mate at ASU and a good friend. He was an energetic, kind, and generous soul. I shall miss him.

Lt Col Robert Barmettler was the first person involved with community theater I met in Montgomery. I was a newly assigned cook at the Airman's Dining Hall, Maxwell AFB. The Maxwell Playhouse was right beside the dining hall. A few nights after the first of the New Year in January 1970 I noticed lights were on at the playhouse. I decided to stop in and when I walked in the door this man came over to me and introduced himself..."Hi I'm Bob Barmettler, welcome.......". It was not until a few...

There will never be another like him. He influenced me in ways I still recognize in myself to this day.

A dear, sweet wonderful man and a terrific actor and lover of the arts. I will miss him.
