Not sure what to say?

Frank,

I never met your father, but know well the son he raised. You are a tremendous example to me and I know that your great qualities were learned from your parents. I love you and your family very much. My deepest sympathy in this time of loss.

Dear Barnes Family,

We just heard about your sweet Dad's passing and wanted to let you know how very much our whole family loved him and your mother. We have so many fond memories associated with them and are grateful for the wonderful examples they set for each of us. We're sure there was a very tender reunion.

Much love,

The Dave and Lauri Glauser family

I remember visiting Uncle Bud when I was a child. He had a pad of new $1 bills that was bound along the edge. He would peel one off and give it to the nephews and nieces. We all thought it was the coolest thing.

Jim,
I just wanted to express to you and your family my deepest sympathy at this time. I had the opportunity of knowing your Dad and working with him. He was a great guy. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Roger C. Reese

Frank, Jim, Roger, Susie and Families,

I also wish to express my sympathies to you all at this time. I too have fond memories of the MP 15th Ward and your dad as my Scoutmaster. He put up with a lot dealing with us rowdy Scouts and always appeared calm, cool and collected. He and Edna raised a great family and they contributed much to the ward and community. Among the legacies they left were their good names and the services they rendered to so many.

Susie,
I have thought of you off and on through the years and no of some of the challenges your family has faced. I wanted to send my thoughts, prayers and condolences at this time. It's never easy to let go of those we love. Your dad lived a long good and kind life. He was so good to your mom for all those years. I know you are children have watched your parents go through a lot. This test called mortality (or vice versa) is harder than I ever thought. I'm thinking of you tonight and...

We appreciate all that "barney" did for Brighton Girls Camp.
His generosity was great and his support of the camp and the experiences the girls have up there was legendary.
We at Brighton want the family to know how much we appreciate all he did for Brighton.
Our thoughts are with your family at this time.

Dear Barnes Family,

Words can hardly express the deep feelings of appreciation and gratitude I have for your parents. I am honored to have had the blessings of knowing them through our work together at the girls' camp at Brighton. During the 1980's and 90's, Bud was the priesthood representative for the camp and made sure our every need was met. He and Edna worked energetically to improve and beautify our surroundings. The camp is fondly referred to as "Heavenly Fathers...

I have so many great memories of "Barney" while I was working at Brighton LDS Camp. He is a shining example of what is true and right. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. I'm sure he is happy to be reunited with his sweet wife.
