Hardly a day goes by that I don't think of my parents; they were fortunate to have loving care from their children, John, and Charles and John's wife, Karen; my wife, Wendy also spent many hours driving them to various medical appointments in their last years. Although those times were challenging, they were also rewarding and helped cement a bond we all shared with them. We all miss them very much.

I miss just knowing that they took up space on the earth. Nan and I drank a lot of coffee while raising our children - and talked about just about everything. They were our oldest friends. Nan and I actually wrote letters to each other, on real paper with real ink.

Bob, John, and Tucker,
I know you have prepared, but I am so sorry this happened so fast. I am grateful that Bob and Nancy did not have suffering at the end. They were very lucky to have you there for them, and caring for them as they became so ill. I know they are in a better place, and our family has been praying for yours to find peace and get through it. David, Mike and Jen also send their condolences and thoughts/prayers for you.
